,  Central Coast Veterinary Staff Association (CCVSA) began in 1990. Our intent was to provide a local organization that could provide quality continuing education and an opportunity to meet your local peers. We have always and will continue to welcome anyone who is interested in Veterinary Medicine which includes students, receptionist, assistants, kennel help.

  As of January 2006 we have held approximatly 60 Wednesday evening meetings, and 2 all day "Hands On" events. There have been so many voulunteers over the years, I apologize in advance if I have forgotten anyone. From the early days we had Robin Embrey, RVT, Shannon Henderson, RVT Healther Shufeldt, RVT and Sue Brodbeck, RVT as our core foundation members. The previous group have invested many hours of work to make sure our group was successfull. We quickly developed a group of RSVP callers who included, Linda Hyde,RVT Debbie Duval, Becky Lewis, RVT Julia Tanner, RVT Michelle Beagle, RVT along with current callers Anita Weisbecker, (Hartnell Student, Ocean View VH) and Crissy Hastings. These folks are vital to call out every hospital previous to every meeting to remind everyone of our up-coming event.

  Every meeting we try to provide a nice meal and Nancy Dyerly-Yost provided the meal planning for so many of our events. George White was also a large contibutor to CCVSA he provided meeting space at his restaurant in Marina. Yolanda Busby, RVT and Amy Peeples, RVT have helped us check in everyone and Michelle Beagle since the beginning has written meeting summary's for our newsletters.

  For many years we collected memberships and provided newsletters but recently we have progressed to this web-site that is a contstant work in progress.

  Over the years we have had many contibutors and continue to look forward to having your input with information that should be shared.
